The front desk that never sleeps.
We build AI receptionists for the businesses that lose the most when the phone rings out. Hire a Jane or a Jack, and every caller reaches someone.
Why we started
Every business owner knows the feeling of watching a call go to voicemail. What most do not know is the size of the leak. Industry research puts the average value of a missed call at roughly $1,200 in lost sales. For a practice fielding a few hundred calls a month, the unanswered ones quietly add up to six figures a year.
The traditional answers all have a catch. A full-time receptionist costs $35,000 to $50,000 a year plus benefits, and still goes home at five. An answering service takes a message but cannot book into your calendar or answer a question about your pricing. Voicemail just tells the caller to try someone else.
Voice AI crossed the quality threshold where a phone call can feel genuinely human. The pieces existed, but they were sold as developer platforms: build your own conversation flow, wire up your own telephony, host your own knowledgebase. That is a fine product for an engineering team and a useless one for a dental office.
JaneJack is the finished version of that. You tell us about your business, we build and train your digital employee, you forward your number, and your phone stops being a liability.
What a Jane or a Jack actually does
Your assistant answers on the first ring, greets callers in your business name, and works from a knowledgebase built out of your hours, services, pricing, and policies. It books appointments straight into your calendar, captures caller details, assesses urgency, takes messages, and transfers to a person when your rules say it should. Every call arrives in your dashboard afterwards as a recording, a transcript, and an AI summary you can review.
What we build around.
A missed call is a lost customer
62% of calls to small businesses go unanswered, and 85% of those callers never try again. That is not a communication problem, it is a revenue problem, and it is the one we exist to solve.
Turnkey, not a toolkit
Most voice AI is sold to developers as an API and a pile of documentation. Main street businesses do not have a developer. We build, train, and tune the assistant for you, then hand you a dashboard.
AI first, humans on standby
Your digital employee handles the routine calls. When something needs a person, whether it is an emergency, a VIP, or a question outside its training, it transfers cleanly. You set those rules, not us.
Honesty about what is on the line
Our assistants sound natural, and most callers do not notice. We still think you should be able to disclose it, so every assistant can say plainly that it is an AI when asked or whenever you prefer.
You own your knowledgebase
Hours, services, pricing, policies, edge cases. Everything the assistant knows is yours, visible in the dashboard, and editable. Nothing about your business is a black box you cannot inspect.
Boring reliability beats clever demos
A receptionist that works 99% of the time is not a receptionist. We optimise for latency under 800ms, clean handoffs, and accurate transcripts, because that is what makes the phone trustworthy again.
Who we build for.
Any business where the phone is the front door. These are the verticals we have tuned the deepest.
